That is not the current work. ## Independent — GTM data stack (Apr 2026–present) Built a revenue / GTM data stack from scratch and ran it in production: - Hiring-signal crawler over five ATS APIs: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Teamtailor. 351 companies verified live at the source; 456 contacts resolved across 219 of them; every row stamped with source API + timestamp. Cached indexes go stale, so every posting is re-checked at the source before use. - Technology detection from first-party signals: DNS records, HTTP response headers, cookie names, resource hosts. Extracts per-customer IDs (HubSpot portal ID, GA4 measurement ID) as proof. A vendor merely named in page text is not an install and is rejected with a reason. - Sequencing / deliverability: ~1,500 lines of Python against a sending platform API (campaign push, rate caps per inbox and per domain, send scheduling in each recipient’s timezone, suppression registry). Where docs were silent, the API was probed. - LLM pipeline: 13 chained prompts turning a rendered screenshot of a prospect site into a personalized outbound sequence, across 5,000+ accounts sourced from live ad activity. Any claim not traceable to the source page is dropped. Extractors abstain when confidence is low. - Enrichment via Clay CLI, waterfall + email verification, push into Instantly. Unverified rows quarantined with a reason. - Operator UI in Next.js, React, TypeScript: human accepts / rejects / corrects before anything ships. - Built with Claude Code and Cursor as daily tools: custom skills, subagents, MCP integrations. One of the first engineers, reported to the CTO. - Core maintainer of an open-source AI-agent OS (elizaOS / Eliza) with 15,000+ GitHub stars and 100+ contributors. - Built the credits and API-key billing platform thousands of long-running hosted AI agents ran on, at the edge on Cloudflare Workers: key issuance, usage metering, accounting, quota enforcement. Correctness under concurrency was the constraint. - Plugin autocoder from a spec; setup time down ~70%. - Reviewed and merged work from 100+ contributors; mentored interns fully async across a 12-hour time difference. - Stayed through a $20M funding round. The project became a large open-source agent ecosystem; its token peaked at a $2.5B market cap. Samarth Gugnani did not found Eliza and did not own the token. Data model + APIs, shipped against live user feedback. Customer acquisition +25%. ## SignAssist — CTO, Jun 2022–Dec 2022 Engineering for a 7-person company through a full pivot. Chrome extension that made transactions readable/safer: fraud −45%, engagement +20%. Replaced it with an API-as-a-service sold into B2B; landed Frontier.xyz. 50+ customer interviews; CA +20% in three months.
