A missed ring becomes a booked job, not the next listing
Owner on the tools. Google already ringing. Voicemail loses the $800–$3k emergency. Capture on the existing number — he keeps plumbing.
What changes
After 3–4 rings, the caller is answered in the shop’s name. Emergency (active leak, no water, sewage) texts him immediately. Everything else books the next window he gave us — or is refused if it is out of zip or a faucet drip after midnight.
What the system does
- No number port. His listing does not change.
- AI receptionist + missed-call text, in his shop name.
- Asks what’s wrong, address, water still running, best number.
- Kill switch is one forwarding code. Pilot is 10 working days. If booked slots from missed rings are zero, tear it out.
What this is not
Not ads. Not a list of homeowners. Not “we automated 40 plumbers.” I built the motion, the ICP, and the capture design on Dallas–Fort Worth residential shops (owner-on-the-tools, 8–400 Google reviews). Same install for any local trade where the owner is still the phone.
