A zero-to-one build for Shield spanning backend, APIs, data model, and frontend, shipped in four months and iterated against real customer feedback.
The problem
Shield, an a16z-backed startup, needed a product built from zero. I was the sole engineer on the build, responsible for turning the customer problem into working software.
What I built
I built the product from backend through frontend: the data model, APIs, and the interface customers used. I shipped and iterated against live customer feedback.
The result
0 → production in four months.
The work covered the full path from an initial customer problem to a production product, with one engineer owning the build across the stack.
